Abstract

Mastoid osteomas are benign, slow-growing tumours arising in the temporal bone. Osteomas of the temporal bone are a rare entity, with an incidence of about 0.1–1% of all benign tumours of the skull, and only a few cases have been reported to date. This report presents a rare case of mastoid osteoma that was managed surgically because of cosmetic concerns.
