Abstract

Coins, bones, food bolus, etc. are some of the common foreign bodies that can become impacted in the throat. Occasionally, unusual foreign bodies may become impacted in unusual anatomical sites. The main aim of this report is to highlight foreign body impaction at an uncommon location. The authors present the case of a patient with a fish bone that migrated into the superficial lobe of the parotid gland, emphasizing the importance of appropriate imaging, timely diagnosis, and surgical management to achieve a complication-free recovery
